The Worcester Diverter Valve Paddle is a fundamental internal component of the hydraulic manifold in Worcester Greenstar boilers. As a genuine replacement part (87161068450), the paddle is the physical gate that moves to direct the primary heated water. When the boiler receives a demand for domestic hot water, the diverter motor pushes this paddle to seal off the central heating circuit, forcing the hot water through the plate heat exchanger. When the demand ends, it returns to the heating position.
