Positioned directly where the moving pushrod spindle exits the brass housing to engage with the electrical microswitches or actuator, this gland nut contains the internal water seals (O-rings) and internal guide bushes. It allows the metal rod to slide back and forth freely during circuit switching while maintaining a complete hydraulic barrier against the high-pressure primary water inside.
